Our Team

John Norris

Co-founder and Director

John’s early career was in banking and broking and involved trading and risk management of equities, FX, derivatives and commodities. Subsequently at Interactive Data Corporation he led the pan-European strategy, specialising in complex portfolio management and capital markets software. John has held senior positions at Citibank, ADP, Datastream, Dun & Bradstreet and Dow Jones with responsibility for European marketing and PR. At Citibank and ADP his responsibilities included global marketing initiatives and public relations strategy and delivery.

Alla Lapidus

Co-founder and Director

Alla began her career developing trading room applications at JP Morgan, before moving to Kleinwort’s where she evaluated and implemented trading room applications. At Dow Jones Telerate she was responsible for marketing and product management of real-time systems. She then joined Financial Times Information where she was tasked with developing the go-to-market strategy for real-time market data and back-office systems.

Alice Jiga

Account Manager

After graduating from the University of East London with a BA in advertising, Alice’s early career started in an arts PR company before she moved to the marketing team at WPP’s government practice. Having joined Moonlight in early 2018, Alice is now a Senior Account Executive and leads the team on a number of our FinTech clients in London, Singapore and Sydney, specialising in commodity markets, regulation and banking.

Emma Dodds

Account Executive

After graduating with a masters in contemporary art history from the University of Edinburgh, Emma began her career working as an account executive at an ad agency in the St. Louis, Missouri. She joined the Moonlight team in February of 2022, and now holds the role of account executive. Emma is the lead on a number of Moonlight accounts and specialises in financial regulations and cryptocurrency.

Caroline McAulay

Office Manager

Caroline joined Moonlight Media in 2009 as an Account Executive with Project Management responsibility. She has since become Office Manager. Caroline was educated in Malvern, Worcestershire before going on to read Modern History. She started her career in the Commercial Attaché’s Office at the British Embassy in Stockholm, before moving to London where she worked for several leading, professional services companies.

Matt McAuliffe

Head of Design

Matt graduated in 2006 with a degree in fine art and became a freelance graphic designer and artworker. For the last ten years he has specialised in web design for a wide range of projects, across all sectors.

Alex Gill

Lead Developer

Alex has come from a marketing background, having been the Creative Technical Director for leading London marketing agencies. His specialities are creating WordPress websites, with a focus on design and functionality, as well as creating systems which clients can easily update and manage.

Whether in the form of our insistence on only working with companies whose values and practices align with our own, leading campaigns focused on sustainable, ethical and environmentally-friendly initiatives or simply running an offshoot Twitter page dedicated to green issues and current events, this fact is reflected at every level of the agency. In addition to this, we also offer organic fruit and coffee for all of our employees, supporting and promoting sustainable farming practices and the health of our office.
